We all know the benefits of a stocked refrigerator. You don’t have to worry about what you’re going to make for dinner. And when you do make a feast and have leftovers, you may be surprised with what you can add. Here are the top five leftovers that taste better the next day.
1. Spaghetti Sauce: This is a delicious way to have dinner for days. Once you make a big pot of spaghetti sauce you can freeze it, and you won’t have to buy groceries online for a few extra days. Pair it with a fresh salad to make it even better.
2. Stew: A good stew tastes better after a day or two because all of the ingredients have been sitting together and sharing flavors. Perfect for a cold winter’s day.
3. Matzo Ball Soup: Same idea, and it goes for any soup really.
4. Stir Fry: When the grease you used to cook vegetables hardens and then softens again, you can really enhance the flavors of a beef or chicken stir fry.
5. Pizza: You don’t even have to re-heat day old pizza; some people prefer it this way!
So next time you’re at your online supermarket and want to buy groceries online, think about what items you need to make the above, and have leftovers for a few days.

An online supermarket does more than just offer home delivery food. It keeps you healthy and informed. Here are the top five best dark green vegetables, which may not win you any points with your kids, but which are really really good for you anyway. These greens require little cooking, which keeps more of their nutrients intact.
1. Kale: This green is my personal favorite and is one of the best for you. It has tons of folic acid and potassium. If you come home from exercising, this is a good food to reduce lactic acid and muscle soreness, as well as your chance for heart disease.
2. Broccoli: This is probably the easiest for your kids to stomach because it looks like a small tree. It has lots of fiber and calcium and may help to reduce heart disease and your risk of cancer.
3. Swiss Chard: Vitamins K and C are found in this leafy cousin of spinach.
4. Spinach: Iron, Vitamins A, C are all in this green, which is one of the most flavorful of the bunch but bothers me because of the irony feel it leaves on my teeth. That aside, when you buy spinach from your online supermarket you can rest assured you’re eating healthy.
5. Romaine: Although this leafy green is mostly water, it also has folic acid and other vitamins. The darker the leaf, the more nutrients it packs.
So next time you are looking at home delivery food, buy these five greens to feed your family well.
You look in the refrigerator. There’s some cheese that you should really eat before the expiration date passes, some lettuce with brown trimming, a few mushrooms you’re saving for tomorrow night’s dinner, some cans of beer, your roommates leftovers, ketchup, and a few carrots. You know what that means, though you don’t want to admit it. It’s grocery time.
But going to the grocery store is such a pain. It’s the same feeling you get when you have to do laundry. You just want to put it off until you have no clean underwear left, or in this case, nothing else to eat. You really would rather hang out and relax, put on some tea, especially in this weather.
The snow makes you extra sleepy and lethargic. Just buy groceries online. It’s so much easier and less painful. You can choose exactly what you want, and then it’s delivered to your front door. Put your feet up, drink your tea and wait for your refrigerator to be stocked full with orange juice, ground beef, bananas, eggs, onions, chicken breasts and all the other trimmings you desire. When you buy groceries online, you’re living the good life.

Nuts are superbly good for you. Not only do they have essential fats and proteins, but they have been shown to actually reduce cholesterol levels proportionately to how many you eat daily. Here are the healthiest nuts for you.
1. Walnuts: With tons of omega-3 fatty acids, this nut is the master. It also contains ellagic acid, which has been shown to fight cancer, and 16 polyphenols and tons of other antioxidants.

Last night, I had to go grocery shopping. It had been more than ten days since my last run, and my refrigerator was sad and empty, my shelves barren and weak. So I walked the eight blocks to my local grocery store, and with a great idea of what I needed, pushed the red cart with the shaky front right wheel around the store for about an hour until I had everything. At the checkout line, I took off my backpack, loaded it up, and put it back on, feeling my spinal column compress a half inch or so. The checkout lady helped me strategically sling a balanced weight of five plastic bags onto each of my hands. My greatest relief while walking home down the cold, lonely avenue was pausing to rest my groceries on the curb while I waited for the crosswalk to change. I need to do something different, I thought.
After I filled my fridge and shelves with provisions for the next week, I went online and looked for the best priced online supermarket. I knew I could buy food online, but I always assumed it would be more than I could afford. Honestly though, when I’m buying groceries for the week, the shipping is a mere pittance in comparison. Plus, an online supermarket would save me time, energy, and the continual use of my fingers and hands after shopping. Next week, I know what to do.
If you’re looking for more ways to go green, why not buy food online? Although some may see it as laziness, environmentalists agree that online shopping, for either food or products, could have a big impact on the environment. Your savings in gas money will be huge and it will help reduce fuel emissions in the air. Instead of everyone driving to the supermarket, there would only be the delivery trucks using gas.
An online supermarket also helps promote local markets and it’s easier to purchase organic foods. I know at my grocery store there is only two small aisles dedicated to organic foods. The selection online will probably overwhelm you and who doesn’t enjoy eating healthier? There will also be no candy up at the register for you to grab while you wait to be rung up.
When shopping in a store, there are many items you toss in your cart based on impulse. It wasn’t on your list but you really “need” 5 heads of lettuce because it was on sale. All those extra purchases you make often go to waste. Shopping online avoids those temptations and means less spoiled food you will throw out.
An online supermarket is not just convenient, it’s a step towards a greener future.
