Get Your Congregation Supplies From Your Online Kosher Market

logo

It used to be such a pain for me to have to order supplies for my temple. I mean, I didn’t mind, but it was just another thing I had to do, on top of the millions of other things at home I was responsible for. I know I signed up to volunteer, and I really don’t mind helping, I just wished that I could send a clone of myself out to the store. When I was venting about my responsibilities to a friend, she told me that I could order supplies online. I argued with her for about 20 minutes until she pulled up the site on her Blackberry to show me what she was talking about. I was in awe! Not only could I buy groceries online for my household, but I could order all of the supplies we needed for the temple in one clean sweep. It is fantastic.

I love how the congregation & shuls category is broken down. It makes it easy for you to shop, as they lay everything out for you.  One of my biggest problems when I went out shopping, is I was terrible at taking inventory, and would buy things we really didn’t need. Well shopping online make that easier. All I have to do is make my list, go online, type in the amount I need, and the items will be delivered. They have food and beverages, coffee and water, cups, plates, cutlery, paper towels, napkins, trash bags, and even cleaning supplies. I love this online supermarket.

Online Supermarket > Regular Supermarket

Before I met you, Order N Relax, I hated shopping for groceries.

First off, I hated the whole list-making business. That was a production in and of itself, and after all of that work I would usually forget the list at home and was condemned to roam the aisles trying to remember what I needed. Of course, I was always way off.

I also hated the act of actually going to the supermarket. Those places are pretty cut-throat on the weekends, which was the only time I had to get my food shopping done. Between the outdoor battle for a parking space, the grocery cart traffic jams that occurred in the crowded aisles, and the never ending checkout lines, I was in misery.

Then one day, while day dreaming of a futuristic world where I could buy groceries online, I decided to see if my day dreams could actually be a reality. Luckily for me, it’s 2010 and the future is now! I found OrderNRelax.com and my spirits were lifted. Now, I drive by the supermarket and sigh, all those suckers have no idea there’s a better, online supermarket, just waiting for them to place their orders!

Online Food Delivery for Busy Families

Sometimes I think my kids have busier schedules than my husband and I do. If it’s not soccer practice every Mondays and Wednesdays, it’s little league or ballet Tuesdays and Thursdays. I drop them off at school every morning at 7:45 and often at times, don’t see them until 7 o’clock at night. What I worry about the most is their nutrition and whether of not they’re eating enough. Because my husband and I also have busy schedules, a great way to ensure that we always have a full fridge with healthy snacks and kosher options is to buy groceries online at OrderNRelax.com.

In the comfort of our own home and with a few simple clicks, we can order produce, dairy products, bread, and even other household products and have them quickly and efficiently delivered right to our door, setting our grocery shopping worries at ease. Whether it’s a pita bread and hummus sandwich, fresh fruits and vegetables, or their extensive kosher market, OrderNRelax.com is a great solution for busy families. Always having a full stock of groceries allows me to pack hearty lunches and afternoon snacks so that my kids will always have the energy they need for all their activities.

Buy Groceries Online?! Don’t Mind If I Do

In my old age, computer skills seem hard to come by, but I’ve been working on them with the help of my granddaughter. Boy, I’ll tell ya. That kid must be part robot—computers are second-nature to her. They really are. I got my first computer in my home and have my internet all geared up. I know a lot of kids today don’t know life without computers and the internet, but I still can’t get over it.

The second I log on, I am amazed at the stuff you can do with one little machine. In the matter of a few hours, I ordered a few books, checked my bank statement, read the news, sent an email to my daughter in China, and the best part—this kills me—I ordered groceries from an online supermarket. I never thought I’d live to see the day when I could buy groceries online. Back when I was a kid, buy food online meant, you stand on line, ya know, a real LINE, a long one with lots of cranky people, and the buy food. But not anymore. This home delvery food service from OrderNRelax.com is perfect for an old chap like myself who really has a hard time getting around for long periods of time. Especially since I can’t drive anymore. Thanks to OrderNRelax.com, I’m totally relaxing.

What I Like In My Kitchen

I love grocery shopping. Well, not really; I like having a lot of food. I like seeing the mottled yellows and reds of apples and peaches, the bananas length, a ripe cantaloupe with its grainy rind, hinting at the orange treasure within, blueberries stocked in the fridge, a yellow or red pepper, leafy greens and pointillist broccoli in the crisper drawer, and lots of other fresh fruits and vegetables.

I like looking in the cupboards and seeing boxes of cereal, bags of chips, raisins, honey, Moroccan sardines, dates, cookies, bread crumbs, canned vegetable juice, unopened salsas, jams and preserves, sauces, breads, the whole shebang.

I stock my refrigerator with juices, orange and grapefruit, milk, yogurt, cottage cheese, sliced meat and Munster or Swiss cheese for sandwiches, mauve beets with their leafy greens, applesauce, peanut butter, fresh leftovers (is that an oxymoron?) ground beef, chicken breasts, and everything else I need for the week’s dinners.

But because it’s such a schlep to the grocery store, I like to buy food online and have home delivery food. It’s much easier, and when I buy food online, I feel more inspired to buy a variety of things because of the way that they’re categorized, whereas when I go to the grocery store, I’m often overwhelmed.

A Rainy Day, the Online Grocery Way

logo

An online supermarket can really help you get all of the groceries you desire. Maybe it’s raining: thunderstorms, downpour, pitter-pat on the roof and the windows, and you just want to sit inside all day and watch movies and eat popcorn. But there’s no more popcorn. In fact, all the cupboards are looking pretty bleak.

Hop online to your local online supermarket and order all the groceries for the day, and the week, and other things that won’t spoil, like canned goods, frozen foods, packaged items, abd things that you will need and don’t want to schlep from the grocery store to your home.

Pretty soon you hear the doorbell ring and think, “Already?” It’s the grocery man with your home delivery food. He’s strong and portly and carries your groceries with ease under his stubble and baseball cap. His shoulders are wet from the rain, but he doesn’t mind, it comes with the territory. You can tell he’s a hard worker and you’re thankful that he arrived so soon.

You pop in the DVD, put the bag of popcorn in the microwave, and bada bing, you sit down on the comfortable couch, ready to enjoy a nice rainy day. You’ll make dinner later.

Order Online and Save Time

Usually I do my grocery shopping on Saturday mornings. My husband and I wake up early, get in the car, and drive to the supermarket. It’s a good time to go, although it’s still pretty crowded. We choose all of the food we want for the week, buying some meat and fish, fresh fruits and vegetables, canned goods, pastas and pastries, juices and sodas, sandwich fixings for the kids, and anything else that looks good. Usually it’s enough.

By the time we get home around early afternoon, I’m pooped. We make brunch, and hang out, maybe my husband goes out and runs some other errands; but after a week of work and a long morning, I’m ready to relax.

Last weekend we went over to our good family friend’s for dinner. They made a real feast and afterwards, while we were talking over some coffee, she told me that she started to buy groceries online. “Online?” I said, mystified. She said, “Yeah, you can get everything that’s at the supermarket, home delivery food, and you don’t have to wait in line or drive at all.”

So she gave me the site to buy groceries online, and I tried it. Thursday evening, I spent half an hour choosing what we would need for the week, and Friday morning it arrived! That Saturday I slept in, and appreciated the beginning of a new routine.
