1.    Kale: This green is my personal favorite and is one of the best for you. It has tons of folic acid and potassium. If you come home from exercising, this is a good food to reduce lactic acid and muscle soreness, as well as your chance for heart disease.

2.    Broccoli: This is probably the easiest for your kids to stomach because it looks like a small tree. It has lots of fiber and calcium and may help to reduce heart disease and your risk of cancer.

3.    Swiss Chard: Vitamins K and C are found in this leafy cousin of spinach.

4.    Spinach: Iron, Vitamins A, C  are all in this green, which is one of the most flavorful of the bunch but bothers me because of the irony feel it leaves on my teeth. That aside, when you buy spinach from your online supermarket you can rest assured you’re eating healthy.
