Save Money and Buy Food Online

Everyone enjoys saving cash but so few people realize that you can save a lot of money when you buy food online. Purchasing your groceries online allows you the same benefits of shopping for other items online. You can scour the web for the best prices and selection, as well as read reviews of items. When you’re at the supermarket, what you see is what you get. If it’s not on sale the day you go, you’re stuck buying it at full price. However, you can shop day or night online and easily wait for an item to go on sale. Then it is conveniently shipped to your house. Prices for shipping don’t cost much either so save that gas money for other trips!

Order N Relax is a great place to buy groceries online. They have a low price guarantee and a commitment to offer the best quality items. If that isn’t reason enough to buy food online, they even have coupons so you can continue saving the dough. Depending on where you live, shipping is free with orders over $300 or $600. Large families won’t have much trouble spending this amount. Make Order N Relax your online supermarket and start saving money today.

Buy Groceries Online This Holiday Season

logo

‘Tis the season for tons of shopping, decorating, and holiday parties. The moment you’re done reading this post, it’ll be the day before Thanksgiving already. With so much to do and so many things to plan, who wants to go food shopping? We’re already knee-deep in the age of online shopping for all our other needs, so why not make life simpler and buy food online? I think we can all agree that most of our time is spent waiting on line at stores during the month of November and December. With a company like Order ‘n Relax, you can spend more time doing the things you love this holiday season, like climbing on the roof to hang up lights or spending quality time with the in-laws.

Your food and groceries can be delivered the next day and it’s guaranteed to arrive fresh. Sure, getting a package of fruit and some Ziploc bags might not be as fun as receiving that new handbag you ordered, but beggars can’t be choosers. So whether you’re too busy planning the next holiday party or you sprained your wrist after you took a tumble off the ladder hanging up Christmas lights, cross off “food shopping” on your extensive list of things to do because you’re going to marvel in the greatness that is home delivery food.

If You Love Shopping Online, Buy Your Groceries Online

As much as I hate to admit it, I’m old enough to remember when buying things online was still a novelty. It’s really commonplace now, but as someone who grew up in a very tiny town and had to drive about 45 minutes before hitting any major retail outlets, online shopping is still a treat for me, and something I don’t take lightly. I love getting things in the mail, too, so it’s doubly fun.

When a friend told me about online supermarkets a few months ago, I didn’t believe her. My friends all knew how much I love online shopping — they tease me about living down the street from a Pottery Barn and still buying things from the store’s web site — so I assumed she was just pulling my leg. How on earth do you mail food? And ice cream? It wouldn’t last a day during the summer.

A few days later though, while I was visiting her, a bunch of groceries were delivered to her apartment. Amazed and thrilled at the prospect of even more shopping I could do online, I got the delivery guy’s card and as soon as I got home, went online to set up an account. I’ve been buying groceries online ever since.

Too Busy? Save Yourself Some Time and Buy Groceries Online

Once I started my senior year of college, finding enough time to go grocery shopping ended up being a huge hassle. Between work, school and an internship, I barely had time to see my friends, let alone wander around a huge grocery store. Plus, I don’t exactly lift weights every day, so I didn’t look forward to lugging bags of groceries on the bus and up four flights of stairs.

I started thinking about online supermarkets. I did most of my clothes shopping online — why not buy my food online? I’d noticed that one of my roommates, Nicki, had groceries delivered, so I called a meeting and talked to her and our two other roommates to see if they wanted to share an account, so we could split things like cleaning supplies and household products, as well as basics like butter and milk, and split the cost of shipping. Nicki liked the idea, but the other two were hesitant because they had to keep kosher.

I did a little research and found Order ‘n Relax, an online kosher market. Nicki and I didn’t mind eating kosher food, so we went ahead with it. It ended up working out great!

Online Supermarkets: An Agoraphobic’s Dream

logo

Agoraphobia: an abnormal fear of being in crowds, public places, or open areas, sometimes accompanied by anxiety attacks. (As defined by Dictionary.com)

My first roommate out of college, Annie, was an agoraphobic, and as you can imagine, before the advent of online shopping, she had it pretty rough in the commerce department. No trying on clothes, no testing out electronics — even doing something as simple — and necessary — as buying food could be a nightmare. I was happy to pick up stuff for her, but she didn’t want to take advantage of my generosity, and always hired people to go out and get her groceries. Still, that’s not the same as being able to see what a store has to offer. Online supermarkets break down foods and household items by the same categories they’d be separated into in an actual grocery store, in a way creating a virtual shopping experience. I’ve kept in touch with Annie over the years, and since undergoing intensive therapy, she manages to leave her house a few times a week — she still prefers to buy groceries online, though.

Fun fact: The word agoraphobic, stemming from the Greek “agora” and “phobic” translates literally to “fear of the marketplace.”

Busted Ankle? Buy Your Groceries online at Order ‘n Relax

logo

I’m the kind of person who likes to do things a very specific way. Some people might call me a control freak, but I consider myself a gal who just knows what she wants.

When I busted my ankle two weeks ago and my doctor told me I’d have to stay off it as much as possible, I thought, “What on earth am I going to do? How will I go to work? How will I take my kids to school? How will I get groceries?”

Luckily, my boss was kind enough to let me work from home and the other neighborhood moms said they’d be happy to cover my carpooling shifts. One of them recommended Order ‘n Relax, an online supermarket. I wasn’t so sure at first — I’m very picky about how ripe my strawberries are — but I figured I should give it a shot.

As it turns out, it’s a lot easier to buy groceries online then go to the store to pick them up. I plan on sticking with Order ‘n Relax even after my ankle heals. The fewer trips I have to take to the market, my kids in tow, screaming at each other and sneaking three packages of cookies into the cart, the better.
